Once your document template has been created, you can send it to the relevant participants for review or signature. In this article, we will guide you through generating a document, configuring the sending options, and assigning the appropriate participants.
Send a Document Template
Follow the steps below to send a document template:
Head to Contract & Letters > Document Templates.
Locate the document template that you wish to send.
Click the three-dot icon beside the template and select Send & Generate.
You will be redirected to the Document Preview page, where you can review the document and configure the document settings before sending.
Configure the Document
Under the Document Configuration section, complete the following settings:
I. Company
Select the company that the document will be generated for from the Company dropdown list.
II. Send Date & Time
You can choose to send the document immediately or schedule it for a later date and time.
Toggle Send Date & Time On to schedule the document.
Select the preferred date and time using the date and time picker.
If the toggle is left Off, the document will be sent immediately after generation.
III. Participants
Assign the employees to each participant role that was configured when creating the document template.
❗ Note: Only employees who have already been onboarded in Gutsy can be selected as participants. Refer to the Employee Onboarding guide for more information on onboarding employees.
IV. Sign Order
You can optionally set a deadline for participants to complete their review or signature.
Toggle Sign Order Due Date & Time On to specify a due date and time.
Select the preferred deadline using the date and time picker.
If no deadline is required, leave the toggle Off.
Generate and Send the Document
Once all the required information has been configured, click Send & Generate.
The document will be generated and sent to the assigned participants for their required action, such as reviewing or signing the document.
