Approving or Denying Leave

Approve or deny employee leave requests quickly from the Admin Portal.

This article will guide you through the process of approving or denying leave requests from the Admin Portal. The steps are quick and straightforward to follow.


Step 1: Navigate to All Leaves

  1. Go to the side navigation menu, click Leave and select All Leaves.

  2. You will be directed to the page showing all leave applications.


Step 2: View or Edit a Leave Application

  • To view details of a leave application:

    1. Click the three-dot icon next to the application.

    2. Select View.

  • To edit a leave application:

    1. Click the pencil icon.

    2. Make the necessary adjustments before proceeding.

📝Note: Viewing allows you to check the leave request details (e.g. dates, reason, supporting documents) before making a decision.

💡 Tip: Need to remove a leave application? You can do this by clicking the bin icon in the three-dot menu, or by ticking the submission and selecting the bin icon at the top.


Step 3: Select Leave Applications

  1. Tick the checkbox next to the specific leave request(s) you want to take action on.

  2. You may select multiple requests if needed.


Step 4: Approve or Deny the Request

  1. Once you’ve selected the leave application(s), click Approve or Deny at the top of the page.

  2. The system will validate the action.

  3. You will see the status updated with a remark showing whether the request has been approved, denied, or is still pending action.
