This article will guide you through the process of updating an employee’s Position Reassignment or Salary Adjustment in the system. These updates are automatically recorded in the employee’s Career History, allowing you to track career progression over time.
The system also provides a Customisation option, giving you flexibility to decide which fields you want to update while ensuring all changes are properly documented.
What’s the difference between Position Reassignment, Salary Adjustment, and Customisation?
Position Reassignment
Select this flow when a variety of changes need to be updated such as an employee’s role and salary. Editable default fields will include:
Salary Adjustment
If you just need to adjust salary, select this flow with the specific editable fields focussing on:Salary increase/ decrease
Pay frequency and amount
Customisation
Provides flexibility to choose specific editable fields you want to update. You can tick only what’s needed for the change.
💡Scenario:
Sarah has just been promoted. The Admin can use Position Reassignment to update her Department, Position, and Pay in one flow.

Go to Employees from the side navigation menu.
Click Job & Salary Changes.
A. How to do Job and Salary Change
On the Select Flow page, choose one of the following:
Select the editable fields and choose the employee(s).
Click Next.
Set the Start Date to effect the changes.
Modify the editable fields as needed.
Click Submit.
B. How to view and edit Career History
All Job and Salary Changes are automatically reflected in the employee’s Career History.
From the side navigation menu, go to Employees.
Click the eye icon on the employee’s profile.
Click the Career History tab.
To make updates:
Click the pencil icon to edit details.
Click the bin icon to delete an entry.
Click Save Changes after editing.
⚠️ Note: Editing Career History will overwrite the previously recorded data.
