How to Submit CPF File

A step-by-step guide to submitting your CPF file in line with Singapore’s statutory requirements.

It’s the CPF file submission day! Based on Singapore's CPF regulations, CPF contributions are payable to Singapore Citizens (SC) and Singapore Permanent Residents (PR) who are:

  1. Working in Singapore under a Contract of Service

  2. Employed on a permanent, part-time, or casual basis

  3. Earning more than $50/month

Before generating CPF file and payroll, please ensure that you have created the CPF Submission Number (CSN) under the Company Management page and assign the CSN to the employees.


Adding a CPF Submission Number (CSN) to your company account

  1. To add CSN, head to Settings and click Company Details under Company Management

  2. Scroll down, click edit under Statutory Information and add the CSN

  3. Once done, click Submit


Submitting CPF File

  1. Once you have generated the CPF file, head to the CPF page under Payment Files.

  2. Select the relevant CPF file name. Click submit to proceed.

  3. Choose the payment method that you would like to use:

  • Direct Debit

    • For submission before 5.15PM, the deduction date must be 2 working days later. Otherwise, the deduction date must be 3 working days later.

  • PayNow

    • You will be directed to Singpass to proceed with the submission

  • MEPS

    • You will also be required to login to your Singpass to proceed with the submission

Additionally, You can also download the CPF file directly from the system and manually submit it through the CPF Board portal.


Well done! With CPF successfully submitted, you can be confident that your statutory obligations are met on time.
