An Admin permission template allows you to easily assign the same set of permissions that applies to multiple employees whom you have assigned as Admins.

Since permissions include many functions and options to select, using a template saves time, avoids starting from scratch, and helps reduce errors. You can simply import this template when assigning admin permissions.

✏️Note: If you only wish to assign Admin(s) individually, you can follow this guide.

Steps to create a permission template

  1. Head to Admin Permission from the side navigation menu

  2. Click Permission Template

  3. Click +Template

  4. You’ll be taken to the New Admin Permission Template, where you’ll need to complete the following fields:

    1. Template name: Enter a name for this template so you can easily identify it with a unique label for internal reference.

    2. Description: Add a note or description for this specific Module Permission.

    3. Give all permissions on every company: Toggle on this option to grant the Admin full module permissions across all companies (if you have multiple company accounts).

    4. Select Attendance and Shift Permission Type: Choose how permissions apply for Attendance and Shift Schedule modules:

      i. Employee Group: Manage permissions based on employee groups.

ii. Outlet: Manage permissions based on outlet locations.

    5. Displays all companies in tabs: If you have multiple company accounts, click any company tab to set up permissions individually.

If you’d like to create a permission template for other companies, you can click the + icon to add additional companies, as shown in the example below.

    6. Permission Checkboxes: Tick the boxes to assign specific permissions to the Admin.

    7. Select All: Quickly grants all permissions within a module to all employees, regardless of whether they belong to a group or not.

    8. Deselect All: Quickly removes all permissions within a module to all employees, regardless of whether they belong to a group or not.

  5. For other modules, you can decide whether to manage access by specific employee groups or by employees without a group. To enable permissions for everyone, simply tick all the boxes.

  6. Click Submit.
