Managing employee permissions is a crucial part of maintaining operational control, security, and clarity within your system. This guide walks Admin users through how to view and configure what actions an employee is allowed to perform inside their own profile.
It’s important to understand that employee permissions are separate from Admin permissions. Employee permissions specifically define what the employee can access and manage for their own records.
👉 Follow this guide to manage Admin Permission
Understanding Employee Permissions
Within each employee profile, there is a dedicated Permissions section. This allows Admins to tailor access based on responsibilities, trust level, and company workflow. Proper configuration ensures employees have the tools they need - without granting unnecessary access.
Viewing Employee Permissions
To review an employee’s permissions:
Go to Employees → All Employees
Click the three-dot icon next to the employee’s name and click the eye icon to open their profile
Navigate to the Permissions tab
Here, you can see all active permissions assigned to the employee.
Editing Employee Permissions
To modify permissions:
Click the pencil icon within the Permissions tab
Toggle functions on or off based on the employee’s access needs
Click Submit to save changes

D. Attendance Permissions

⚠️ Important: If attendance permission is disabled, the employee cannot record attendance - including mobile app, kiosk check-ins, and EiO (Chat/WhatsApp).
E. Shift Permissions

Great! Well-configured permissions empower employees to manage their responsibilities confidently while keeping your system secure and organised.
