Outlets

A step-by-step guide on how to create an outlet and generate a kiosk token for attendance tracking.

A company may have multiple outlets in addition to its main headquarters. The software is designed to accommodate all outlets within a single application, to ensure seamless scheduling and allocation of Staff to various locations nationwide.


How to Create Outlets

  1. Head to Settings from the navigation bar

  2. Click Outlets under Company Management

  3. Click the +New button

  4. Fill in the required fields (Outlet name, Check-in radius, Postal code, Country, Address, Assign company, Paying company, Cost centre, Kiosk clock in/out method)

  5. Click Submit


Assigning Employee to Outlet(s)

This step is important for shift planning. When you create shifts, employees will be grouped by outlet, making it clear where they belong. It also ensures records are kept accurately.

How to assign an employee to an outlet:

  1. Go to the side navigation menu > Employees > Click the three dots > Click Edit on a specific employee profile

  2. Under the Employment Details tab, you can assign the outlet which you have set up that are relevant to the employee.

    📝 Note: You can select more than one outlet

  3. Click Submit

  4. Once the outlet has been assigned to the employee, the outlet will be shown on the employee profile.


How to Create, Copy, and Delete a Kiosk Token in an Outlet

  1. Go to the Outlets tab inside the Company's settings and click the mobile button in one of the outlet names

  2. To create a new kiosk token, click + Add Token

  3. Once the token is created, manually key in the code (if you’re using web) in your kiosk device or click the copy button to use it on your kiosk device (if you’re using Gutsy mobile app).

  4. Once the kiosk token is activated via a kiosk device (mobile/tablet app), you will see the In Use status

  5. You can delete the token by clicking the delete button.

    Note: One token can only be used by one device. Deleting the token will automatically log you out from the kiosk.


How to View, Edit, and Delete Outlets

  1. To View the employees included under the Outlets, click (...) employees under Assigned to

  2. To Edit it, click the edit button to change the Outlets Name and Assigned Company

  3. To Delete it, click the delete button beside the edit button

Note: You cannot delete an outlet that has active employees assigned to it. Please ensure the outlet is removed from all active employees before proceeding with the deletion.
