In this article, we will guide you through how to view the details of an employee's leave submission.
This guide contains:
Viewing All Leave Submissions
To view employees' leave submissions:
From the side navigation menu, go to Leaves > All Leaves.
You will see a list of all leave submissions made by employees.
Available Actions on the All Leaves Page
a. + Leave Application: Click + Leave Application if you would like to submit a leave request on behalf of an employee.
b. Search & Filter: Use the Search and Filter options to quickly find specific leave submissions.
c. Checkbox Selection: Select one or multiple leave submissions by ticking the checkbox. You can also select all submissions, select only the current page, or Deselect all selections.
Once a submission is selected, you can perform actions such as Approve, Deny, and Delete
Understanding the Leave List
Each leave submission displays the following information:
Column | Description |
d. Application Date | The date the employee submitted the leave request. You can sort this column from newest to oldest or vice versa. |
e. Employee | The name of the employee who submitted the leave request. |
f. Status | The current status of the leave submission. |
g. Start Date | The first day of the leave period. |
h. End Date | The final day of the leave period. |
i. Type / Amount Used | The leave type applied for and the number of leave days used. |
j. Actions | Click the three-dot (⋮) menu to View, Edit, or Delete the leave submission. |
Viewing Leave Submission Details
To view the full details of a leave submission:
You will then be able to see the complete details of the leave application.
a. Leave Details
This section displays information of:
i. Leave Type
ii. Leave Period
iii. Employee Remarks (if provided)
iv. Supporting document or proof (if uploaded)
b. Leave Entitlement Details
The Leave Entitlement Details section provides a breakdown of the employee's leave balance for the selected year, including Base entitlement, Leave adjustments (if any), Leave used, and Remaining leave balance
c. Approval Status
If an Approval Flow has been set, you will be able to view the complete approval workflow, the current approver responsible for the request, and whether the request is pending, approved, or denied.
If required, you can also click Reset Leave Approval to restart the approval flow for that specific leave submission.
If the leave request is still pending and has not yet been approved or denied, Admins can override the approval process by selecting either Approve or Deny directly from the leave details page.
